Scoring:

Round 1: 1 point per game
Round 2: 2 points per game
Round 3: 4 points per game
Round 4: 8 points per game
Round 5: 12 points per game
Round 6: 16 points per game

Extra Points for Upsets: For example, if you pick a 12 seed to beat a 5 seed, you would get 7 extra points(12-5=7) on top of the points given for that round. So, if you pick a 16 to beat a 1 in the first round, and it actually happens, you will get 1 point for that game plus 16-1=15 extra points, so 16 total for that game.

There are no extra points for the 4 play-in games.

Points will still be awarded to the winner of a game even if their opponent has to forfeit due to COVID, as well as upset points(when applicable).

Payment Info:

I will send out the payment breakdown once the tourney has started and I know how many are in it. Usually, I like to pay out just under two-thirds to the winner, just under one-third to second place, with the leftover money being payed out to 3rd, 4th and possibly 5th. The exact amounts depend on how many enter.

Payment is due by Thursday. I can do cash, check, Venmo(@Joseph-Lockard-1), CashApp($JosephLockard), Paypal(thegreatone328@aol.com).

- If you want to use Paypal, make sure to gift it so it doesn't charge me, and put your name in the comment section so I know what bracket(s) you're paying for.
- If you use Venmo, DON'T put anything in the comments about it being March Madness money. I've seen them confiscate money before if they think it's used for gambling.

Also, if you use a name on your bracket other than your real name, try to email/text me and let me know who you are, so I can match up the brackets to their owners.

If you can't get your picks entered into the website by Thursday at 12:15pm, you can also just give and/or email/text me a filled out bracket and I can enter it for you. I just need enough time to get it entered before the games begin.

Also, if you want to receive results through email periodically, be sure to type in a valid email address when you enter your picks. This will also come in handy if I need to contact you for any reason.
